Windows Vista Hardware Assessment Accelerator is a network-wide assessment tool is designed to run from a single networked PC to assess all PCs within the network, identifies the supported Windows Vista experience, and reports on hardware compatibility, device compatibility, upgrade recommendations and more. It helps organizations understand their readiness to migrate to Windows Vista.

Download v1.0 to get familiar with current features. Join the beta program and test drive new features including OU-targeting, machine names import, localized UI/readiness reports and more.

Assessment tools often require users to first deploy software agents on all computers to be inventoried, but the Windows Vista Hardware Assessment does not require the deployment of any software agents on the individual computers.
