May 2nd, 2007The first time I heard the name Google Personalized Homepage, I wondered why Google could not have come up with a shorter, more cool name for their incredibly useful web service. It seems that was what many people were thinking, and have renamed Google Personalized Homepage to iGoogle.

This rebranding has been a good step as competition is increasing from similar web services like Netvibes and Pageflakes. I like the name iGoogle better than Google Personalized Hompage. It sounds a lot like Apple products (iLife, iPhoto, iTunes, iPod, etc) =D
I like the new look and the new name.
