ADVERTISEMENTS

Google Analytics is the very powerful site traffic statistics tool by Google. Often concerns have been raised regarding the cumbersome panel and usability of this free yet very useful tool. Google has completely redesigned the product and enhanced the feature set through new email reporting, customizable dashboards, improved map displays, and plain language descriptions to make important information more accessible.

My Google Analytics panel has not switched yet and displays this

“Over the next several weeks, we will be migrating all existing Analytics accounts to the new Google Analytics interface. You will be notified by email once your account has been migrated. For an entire month you will be able to access both the original interface and the new interface. During the migration, you should experience no interruption in service and you’ll be able to see all of your data regardless of which interface you use.”

New users who sign up will get immediate access to the new version. However, the new version of Google Analytics will be rolled out automatically to existing users over the coming weeks. The Google Analytics service is still integrated with Google AdWords.

The new site traffic statistics tool promises the much requested features like greater visibility of important data, clarity of appearance and more intuitive navigation paths. Utilizing more features and improved metrics, Google Analytics now summarizes data and statistics in plain language so that website owners can make more informed decisions.
