6 Free Pownce Invites to Giveaway
July 22nd, 2007Are you searching for a free Pownce Invitation? Pownce is a new way to send messages, files, links, and events to your friends. Just create a network of your friends and start sharing stuff. However, you need a invite code to login and create an account. I have 6 free Pownce invites to giveaway to my readers.
Pownce was created by “a bunch of geeks who were frustrated trying to send stuff from one cube to another”. The team consists of Leah Culver, Kevin Rose, Daniel Burka, and Shawn Allen who joined skills to create a company called Megatechtronium that makes this software.
Pownce is emerging as a top competitor to similar services like Twitter and Jaiku. Jeremiah is keeping track of the Pownce Reviews, expressing opinion of top bloggers. I joined Pownce and got 6 invites to share with you. I spotted that they are monetizing via Google Adsense on every page (if you are not logged in), but no revenue sharing option seen as yet.
How to get Pownce invites? Just post a comment that you need a Pownce invitation. I will send out invites to random 6 people who requested here after 2 days.

I’m loving Pownce. A good alternative to Twitter, but they still need to bring in a lot of stuff – like accessing via IM, etc.
Just starting to look at all theses twitter/facebook/jaiku sites before I decide where to make my web home and I would like to try Pownce. And see how it fits.
