Blogathon 2007 Marathon Ends: Sponsors Can Pledge for 48 Hours



Survive BlogathonLike previous years, the Blogathon 2007, a 24 hour blogging marathon got bloggers busy updating their blogs every 30 minutes for the 24-hour period beginning on July 28, 2006, at 6:00 AM Pacific Time in support of their charity organizations. As the Blogathon ends, sponsors can still sign up and pledge any time up to 48 hours.

The blogathon rules were simple. Everyone blogs during the same 24-hour period and must update every 30 minutes from July 28, 2006, at 6:00 AM Pacific Time. Bloggers need to remove scripts on pages that breaks site out of frames, and remove update scripts or other tricks to sleep and still blog, and you need to be awake and participating in person. Bloggers pick a charity that they blog for, provided they accept online donations. Check the top fund raisers, some of which have generated online donations of over $5000! Anyone can become a sponsor and pledge their support. At the end of the Blogathon, an automated email will be generated, telling sponsors how much they have to pay and where they can send their payments.

Sponsors can still sign up and pledge support anytime up to 48 hours… select a blogger, send in an online donation now.
