ADVERTISEMENTS

Open Directory Project (ODP), the most comprehensive human-edited directory of the web have launched their new DMOZ blog, the official source for information, insight, and updates about DMOZ, the Open Directory Project (ODP).

The purpose of the DMOZ blog is defined -

- Provide authentic messages about DMOZ and the efforts of our volunteer community.
- Highlight enhancements, both current and future.
- Allow editors to showcase their categories and describe, in their own words, why DMOZ is so important.
- Recruit new editors.

They want you to share what you think about DMOZ and why you use the directory or data. Since RSS and feed readers are the new way to read news, it is great that DMOZ has released a blog to present the official word and clarify misconceptions buzzing around.

Become an ODP Editor and contribute to DMOZ. They also have an efficient mechanism to report corrupt DMOZ editors and ODP abuse.
