WordPress Wins Best Open Source Social Networking CMS Award

Packt announced that WordPress is the first winner of the 2007 Open Source CMS Awards, picking up the best Open Source Social Networking Content Management System.
In what is one of the new categories for 2007, the Open Source Social Networking CMS Award was designed to recognise Content Management Systems that promoted the collaboration and distribution of information and development of communities. The Judges commented on WordPress’s ease of configuration, professional approach, usability and enthusiastic community. Along with the title, WordPress will receive $2,000 in prize money from Packt.
Elgg and Drupal finished joint second. LifeType.net and Moodle.org were the other finalists in the Best Open Source Social Networking CMS category.

Well thats not a big surprise… WP is the best, safest, most popular and most reliable CMS around :)
This is a well deserved award. If there are any more, WordPress deserves them all.
I have used all of em…Blogger, TypePad etc and at last I came to WordPress. Its features are unmatchable and also the every blogger can customize it in many many ways.
I bet more WordPress bloggers are successful than any other CMS software!
