Adobe PDF Advertising: Powered by Yahoo!
Now commercial publishers can make money through their PDF documents via advertising powered by Yahoo!. Ads for Adobe PDF will display dynamic, contextual ads in a panel of Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat when a user views the PDF and generate revenue for clicks.

Ads for Adobe PDF provides a powerful new medium which can be targeted by advertisers. Adobe has partnered with Yahoo! to provide ads across a broad range of categories to match PDF content. Since the ads come from Yahoo!, publishers do not have to establish and maintain direct relationships with advertisers. The best part is the ads are contextual, that is targeted to the content and publishers are paid on a per click basis.
Commercial publishers need to appy for an account, upload and register the PDF content and distribute registered PDF content as usual. - just as they do today.
