Patrick Moberg Searches For New York Subway Girl
Patrick Moberg fell in love at first sight when he spotted Camille Hayton while taking the train from Manhattan to Brooklyn. The train stopped and he lost her. Then he set up a website “New York Girl of My Dreams” at NYGirlOfMyDreams.com to find her. He drew a picture of the girl wearing blue shorts, blue tights, and a red flower in her hair. He added his mobile phone number, email address and an appeal for help in finding her.

As the city buzzed and a new internet sensation started, he was finally contacted by someone who knew her and now the website shows “Found Her! Seriously!”. The mysterious subway brunette Camille Hayton, is Australian magazine Blackbook intern. Patrick Moberg works at Vimeo.

The pair appeared on Good Morning America, ABC’s television breakfast show and shared their views about this event. Gawker has the interview video. More at ABC news. The final update on the site says “Unlike all the romantic comedies and bad pop songs, you’ll have to make up your own ending for this.”

I found you via the Randomizer at NaBloPoMo. I’m trying to visit a lot of sites, see a lot of opinions, and make some new friends.
I think I saw a movie of this story made before the internet. 3 sailors on leave - one of them Gene Kelly) falls in love with “Miss NY Subway” and spends most of his leave searching for her. I believe it’s called “On the Town.”
