Snow Fall on Wordpress Blogs!

ADVERTISEMENTS

Some wordpress.com blogs are having a snow fall on their blog this chilly winter. This timely snowfall is courtesy of Matt Mullenweg who has enabled an option to cause blog snowing!

How to Add Blog Snow

The already heavily snowing Matt’s blog introduces the snow feature. To activate snowing on your blog, go to Dashboard > Presentation >Extras and simply check the box to show falling snow. Remember to Save.

Snow option on the Extras

It is recommended if your theme does not have a white background. It works on Wordpress.com blog and not on your self hosted Wordpress.org blog. I am sure someone is already writing a wordpress plugin on this snow effect. Remember this feature will end on January 2, 2008 and it will disappear until next year, like all snow…

Update: I told you some wordpress developer will be creating a plugin for this. Let It Snow! Falling Snow WordPress Plugin for wordpress.org blogs which will continue to snow in any season without expiring.
