Google India has launched the “Women in Engineering Award” to recognize women in the field of computer science and engineering in India. Google India wants to recognize and celebrate women in computer science and related fields through an award of Rs.75000.
The Women in Engineering Award is open to recognized engineering schools across India and is open to any woman student in computer science engineering who meets the application criteria.
- Full-time students from recognized institutions
- Area of specialization – Computer Engineering or related majors
- 2nd to final year students from a bachelor’s program; all students from a master’s or PhD program
- Cumulative CGPA of at least 4.0 on a 5.0 scale, 8.0 on a 10.0 scale or equivalent.
Register by filling in the form. Last date for applying is January 31, 2008. There are some tricky questions to fill there which eventually will decide the winner…
