Google Online Marketing Challenge for Students

Google Online Marketing Challenge is a hands-on competition which will give students direct experience with online advertising and marketing and 8000 students are ready for the challenge. the competition is a great opportunity for students to gain practical, real world online marketing experience.

As part of the Google Online Marketing Challenge, student groups will receive $200 to spend on Google AdWords advertising, and work with a local business of their selection to devise effective online marketing campaigns for three weeks. An international panel of professors will decide the winners based on the success of the campaigns and quality of the reports.

Students can compete over any three consecutive weeks between the February 10th, 2008 and May 24th, 2008 and global and regional winners will be announced in July 2008. Academics employed by a higher education institution and conducting lectures or seminars for students can Register their class before Feb 1st 2008. Note that students cannot register.
