Chitika Launches Viral Branding Units: VBU Can Comment, Share and Rate

Chitika has announced its new innovative Viral Branding Unit (VBU) that uses advanced Web 2.0 technologies to power corporate branding, with new viral components that include tabs for commenting on the brand or products and the ability to rate and share opinions across social networks of choice.

The press release says new VBU ads promise more impact, more interactivity and more of the conversational attributes that are requisite of new media.

The VBU offers full flexibility and control to advertisers. The units are highly customizable and offer several different options for viral marketing, including Comment, Share it and Rate it tabs. The VBU also has advance targeting capabilities that perform well at the site, category and keyword levels. To ensure maximum ROI, Chitika also provides detailed analytics reports that summarize core metrics such as impressions, clicks, number of comments and votes.

Can you try VBU? No. They are currently beta testing VBUs with select top Chitika publishers on an invitation-only basis and it is not available to most Chitika publishers. Till then you can view the sample VBU ad unit.
