Apple has released Safari 3.1, which now claims to be the world’s fastest web browser for Mac and Windows computers. They claim Safari loads web pages 1.9 times faster than IE 7 and 1.7 times faster than Firefox 2. Safari also runs JavaScript up to six times faster than other browsers, and is the first browser to support the latest innovative web standards needed to deliver the next generation of highly interactive Web 2.0 experiences. Download Safari 3.1 for free.

The Apple dipwads want to know if I’m running Leopard or Tiger. They give a clue, but c’mon, how about version numbers along with brand names on the download site???
Hi,
I like Apple OS looks but all the PC I have access run in Windows. I have downloaded Safari and it is a little faster but I have one complain. I used Google Toolbars to bookmark sites as I can login to my bookmark on any PC running IE. Furthermore I like to check out site PageRank which is available on Google Toolbars.
Google Toolbars don’t run on Safari!
Does anybody know of any solutions to allow access to google bookmark and see pagerank while using safari?

@GoingLikeSixty – Leopard is the latest version of MAC OS. If you did not buy it in the last few months, you are probably still on Tiger.
@Fred – Google toolbars do run on Safari. Get the firefox version only.

See System requirements:
Windows XP/2000 SP3+, Mac OS X 10.2+, or Linux
@QuickOnlineTips – How does the firefox version of google toolbar enable it to run on safari? Did you mean on OS X, which is not very helpful to Fred who (like me) is using safari on Windows…
i’d really apreciate if you could explain as to how to use google toolbar(the one made for firefox) on safari.
thanks in anticipation….
Hi there. Same interest here. I’m dying to use Safari browser, but without all the bookmarks I have on google’s toolbar it’s a no brainer: can’t do it.
