CSS Naked Day 2008: Strip Your Blog

April 8th, 2008 | Filed under Blogging, Design, Events, Fun.
ADVERTISEMENTS

CSS Naked DayIts April 9 and the blogosphere is stripping away their CSS and getting ready for CSS Naked day 2008. Promoting the proper use of (x)html, semantic markup, a good hierarchy structure, it tests how well designed your blog structure is without the CSS.

It’s time to show off your <body>. Held on highly trafficked days of early April for the third time now, the idea od CSS Naked Day is to simply remove all CSS from your website, stripping it entirely of its design. Try removing your CSS and see how ‘bad’ your blog looks… the worse it looks, the more you need to relook your design.

If some popular website looks badly designed today, its because they have removed their CSS. Its a great link bait every year, and nearly 1000 blogs have signed up. Are you participating? It reminds me of Scriptless day and CSS Reboot day too.
