Firefox Support Plans First SUMO Day

The Firefox Support team is inviting you to the first SUMO day! Its all about getting to know SUMO and how to use their site to help other Firefox users enjoy their favorite browser. What is SUMO? Its short for Support Mozilla.

The first SUMO day will be held on Friday, April 11th at 7 AM – 6 PM PDT, 16:00 – 03:00 CEST on #sumo on irc.mozilla.org. To join easily, get the ChatZilla firefox extension (Internet Relay Chat IRC client) and just click the provided links to join that channel.

Our team is gearing up to show you the ropes and answer all your questions. Not only will there be the normal tasks of editing articles, and answering questions in the forums and on chat, but we’re planning special projects that will help you get to know our site, so you can jump right in or get started slowly. We’re also looking for your feedback on what still needs to get better for our community to grow.

Here are more ways to contribute to Firefox Support. They are gearing up for the grand release of Firefox 3, which will lead to hundreds of support queries and a good Firefox support system in place with lots of volunteers will help provide a better Firefox experience.
