Want to Join 9Rules? Next Round on May 7
April 16th, 20089Rules is a premium blogging network and bloggers usually queue up on 24 hour submission days to join 9Rules. In the last Round 5 in 2006, there were 1190 blogs submitted and 134 blog got in. Now the wait may be over soon as the next round dates are announced.
Recently 9Rules announced their policy change to only have Member content on the site, while a new site still under development called Chawlk will contain all the Notes, Cliques and my.9r stuff. Now 9rules Relaunches on April 30 at 3pm Eastern Standard Time and it would be interesting if they can create the same buzz again.
9Rules announced they will be holding 3 rounds every year and this year the dates are
- May 7, 2008
- August 6, 2008
- November 5, 2008
Remember these 9rules rounds last only 24 hours and will open at midnight EST, so its a good idea to mark these dates if you wish to get in. While everyone continues to wait for the next round, some earlier ideas to get noticed by 9rules might still work. Will you apply for 9Rules or has it lost its charm?
NB – 9Rules has always stood for quality content and amazing design – so its sad when I see the default wordpress template on their blog.

With regards to the default template when we were upgrading our version of WordPress things got switched around and I deleted the template we were using. Instead of doing it over again we figured we would just wait for the new version and don’t want to show it yet since it gives away some of the new design.
Thanks for the link and yeah, it’s sad for us to have a default theme but when a simple WP upgrade was released that had a *major* incompatibility with bbpress, we were left scrambling for a few days and put the default theme up in the mean time. When the site relaunched it will be anything but default :)

I will surely note these dates and will try to get in 9rules. As I am a new blogger I think till May 7 my website will have enough quality content.
