Grab Your .ME Domain Name: Landrush Opens
June 5th, 2008Your much wanted .ME domain name is opening up for registration on June 6, 2008 in a few hours as domain name registrars get prepared to face the domain landrush phase. .ME is the TLD for Montenegro and promises some interesting domain name variations.
From June 6 to June 26, the Landrush begins when the public at large can apply without a trademark. After Landrush closes, domain names requested by multiple parties will be auctioned between the requesting parties.
Recently the Sunrise Period closed wherein Trademark holders submitted requests for .ME domains. From July 17, Registration will open on a first-come, first-served basis like any other domain name.
I spotted that a lot of domain name registrars have pre-orders ready to go the moment landrush opens. I checked that at Godaddy, the cost of .ME domain names is $49.99/yr with a two year minimum registration required.

They would certainly make some very interesting names for adult services.
wow, that is a really good domain name to buy. Imagine having bought names like sa.me, la.me, ga.me. I bet they are already sold out!
there are quite reason why not buy this one… but for domainer, $50 is cheap i thing :D
