Yahoo! Buzz Keen to Bring Us on Board!
July 9th, 2008 | Filed under Tips, Yahoo!.
Yahoo! buzz promises to bring you the highest site traffic ever. As Yahoo Buzz opens its doors and expands the network to include more blogs to share the traffic, lots of bloggers signed up to their invite list in the hope of catching a glimpse of the millions of clicks…
I had also signed up to the waiting list which is being processed on a rolling basis. Although I lost hope of getting on Yahoo! buzz as most shared hosting servers cannot survive more than few seconds of the huge traffic, but then Yahoo! Buzz team sent us this email which raises some hopes…
We’re sorry it’s been a while since we got in touch with you, but we received your request to get your content on Yahoo! Buzz™. Right now, we’re working hard to get the site ready for more publishers, and we really appreciate your patience as we prepare to launch out of beta in the coming months.
Thanks for your continued patience—we will let you know as soon as Yahoo! Buzz™ is ready for you to join. We can’t wait to bring you on board! — Yahoo! Buzz™ Team
Well that “We can’t wait to bring you on board!” seems very encouraging, but I guess this was sent to all people on the waiting list. I see more blogs have joined Yahoo Buzz since its launch and the Buzz buttons are increasing across the web. They should get in more bloggers fast to keep the “Buzz” live, but how will most site servers sustain the traffic is a problem. Anyway keep your fingers crossed and you could be next.
You can also join the waiting list… who knows the next time your site crashes, it could be Yahoo! Buzz and not Digg!
