Windows is going to lose market share to Gmail, YahooMail, and other domains if does not revert back to the original version of hotmail. With so many domain competitors out there, and Google monopolizing anything and everything internet-related, it is smart that Windows seems up-to-date and tech-savvy. Brand image is not enough if the programs are poorly designed without the end user in mind.

They upgraded me without warning & now I’ve lost ALOT of important stuff in my saved messages folder> I also cant even create a new account its says my email address is already in use. GRRRRRRR

When is someone going to take responsibility for this messed up upgrade and fix the problem for good? Since the upgrade, my mom has not been able to send or reply to email – - the tool bar above the text box appears and disappears and she can’t type in the email box. And just recently, she has been unable to browse (enter text in the search engine). She’s already spoken to Microsoft and her ISP and no one has been able to fix the problem – - only blaming it on her computer (which is less than one year old). Bad business. Whose problem is this and why can’t they fix it?

This truly sucks. Deleting emails doesn’t work for me all the time. Sometimes I have to try three or for times. At the bottom it will say working… or loading… or something like that. And it takes a LOOOONG time. I have been told that the new hotmail doesn’t play nice with firefox. If this turns out to be true I will be deleting this hotmail account that I have been using for about the last 12 or 13 years!

hotmail just “upgraded” my account and as a result I’ve lost over 1000 emails and my contacts list that I had saved over the years. they are refusing to restore any of this. isn’t there anything we can do legally? for a lot of us, this is the primary way we communicate and save information.

why cant i open or delete any emails. it is getting very frustrating. hurry up and do something about this please. have reset safari but still no luck.

I want to revert back to the Classic or “old version” of Hotmail but I cannot.

It is very unpleasant and time consuming experience using the new version, and I am thinking of closing my account.

Any suggestion or possibility to revert back?

When I open up an email it bumps be back to main page I can’t open emails when this happens…what’s the deal?
