SearchCamp: Search Engine Marketing Conference in India

SearchCamp is the biggest search marketing conference in India and its happening on February 28 – March 1, 2009 at Tidel park, Chennai, India.

SearchCamp2 is a two day event and will feature the best Search Engine Marketing experts to talk about search engine advertising, search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) issues. This is the second edition of the event after 2007 and will feature workshops, debates and keynotes on the present state and evolution of Search Engine Marketing. Day 1 of SearchCamp will focus on Organic Search, and Day 2 on Paid Search.

Entry fee is Rs.500 per person. Individuals can also become “Friends of SearchCamp” by paying Rs.5000 and Organizations can pay Rs.10000 in favor of  the Knowledge Foundation, a national network of entrepreneurs and technology enthusiasts.

Interestingly day 1 is clashing with the Google SearchMasters Conference 2009 taking place on 28 February 2009 in Bangalore, India. I see Adam Lasnik, Google’s first Search Evangelist, is going to attend both conferences!
