Seems like your chipset/vga drivers don’t like SP2. Try updating laptop drivers first, and then apply SP2.

I tried to download Service Pack 2 for Windows Vista. A few seconds into it, the screen changed to blue and white small checkers(color scheme might have been due to the web site I had open in the background at the time). The computer was not responsive, not even when I pressed control+alt+delete. I had to shut it down by pressing the power button. Since then, I can not turn the computer back on. I tried over the course of several days. The screen remains black, and the computer whirrs on and the blue lights on the keyboard turn on for about 30 seconds; then it shuts down and the cycle repeats. Is this a software or hardware problem?

I have downloaded Vista SP2 yesterday. From then no sound is coming.

If your computer uses a language other than English, French, German, Japanese, or Spanish, then this update is the wrong one for you. Look for the Vista Service Pack 2 Full Update, which will have all the other languages.

i install SP2 …in the middle of installing … my laptop show blue screen and shut down… and i can’t installed SP2 …
can u help me ….
what should i support to do … ????

i have some problem with installing SP2 …
i have installed SP1 before it….
but when i install SP2 …in the middle of installing … my laptop show blue screen and shut down… and i can’t installed SP2 …
