The idea of selling followers is something that doesn’t surprise me. Any time there is something popular that and that something can be used to generate cash there will be way of capitalizing on it.Of course as many have said, what is the point in getting a bunch of “followers” if they aren’t interested in what you have to say? Now if the twitter follower vendors could sell followers who are interested in the business of online marketing I would buy.If you could offer followers who are all segmented by niches that would give your service a little more clout…

I agree that having 10,000 followers that dont care a dime about your company is rather useless. This is why any twitter followers campaign should be conducted with this fact in mind: you are dealing with HUMANS, not NUMBERS!

First tip, never use auto-DMs or automated follow tools. Dont believe you ll get 10000 followers in less time than God took to create the world (see Genesis)
Second tip, communicate with each of your followers (unless you represent a news service or you are some kind of robot)
Third tip: Be yourself! Dont impersonate your company or try to sound cooler than you are: stay true to who you are in everyday life.

i dont think its worth it, you can easily get followers by following people and waiting till they follow you back.

if you do the math your allowed to do 200 follows per day. times that by 30 and ull send out 6000 follows a month. if half of those people follow you back thats a great average.

The question here is, is it really worth it? I mean what do you need that many followers for if they don’t care about what you’re talking about? Aka your products and services? I’d rather have a few followers but have them talk to me and learn more about what I’m offering.
