I have also heard good things about Simple Machine Forums (SMF).

I used bbPress 1.x beta / alpha versions for a while then just dumped it for SMF.

I was totally fed up with the lack of features, user management etc.

bbPress is good, but if you’re looking for decent power then SMF is the way to go.

If you got money to spend, then vBulletin is the best

I am still in a dilemma, whether to go with vbulletin or bbpress.

Hope some articles on your blog help me solve this problem.
