I simply select 4-5 keywords surrounding my main keyword and use these as well as my main keyword when back linking to ensure of a natural looking SEO approach.

Nice post Duncan! Glad to see you’re keeping your hand in on the SEO stuff.

Totally agree, a simple alternation of your anchor text links can prevent anchor text overuse penalties, although I think you’d need to be building a considerable amount of links before it’s really an issue.

Oh, and err.. nice article. But seriously, from what I’ve seen, everyone gets away with having the same anchor every time they get a link. I mean, who’d link to Wikipedia’s homepage with anything but ‘wikipedia’? They must have thousands of links with the same anchor text.

be careful of Google Penalties but do not be scared of it. You must know how to get rid of the possibility of google Penalties.

That is an useful post. Keyword density also matter , if the same text is repeated twice in in the title text . Though i am still experimenting with these seo stuff.
