		<description>You are somewhat correct with tip number 1...although that&#039;s not ALWAYS the case. If you host your images with a CDN, yes, the user will incur a DNS hit for that lookup, but the performance increases gained by the use of the CDN should more than make up for the DNS hit. For the vast majority of websites, you are correct...but it&#039;s not a 100% black and white issue :)</description>
