First Vimeo Festival and Awards Open

Vimeo has announced the first Vimeo Festival and Awards to honor the best of creative online video. If you are skilled at creating amazing videos, distributing and sharing videos on video sharing sites, you could get some huge publicity.

Vimeo Festival and Awards have lined up awesome judges to evaluate your work in a variety of categories (Narrative, Animation, Documentary, Motion GFX, Music Video, Experimental, Remix, Captured, Original Series) followed by a two day festival of events and education at IAC Headquarters and the SVA Theatre in New York City, on October 8-9, 2010. Award winners will be heavily promoted on Vimeo and the winner of the Best Video award wins a $25,000 grant!

Did you upload your winning video on Youtube? Never mind, as Vimeo awards are open to ALL videos online, not just videos on Vimeo.  Submit videos or nominate videos for the Vimeo Awards.
