How can you download Facebook albums? Everyone’s on Facebook these days and many of our interactions with our friends are around sharing and commenting on photos. Uploading photos to Facebook is easy, but do you know how to download Facebook photo albums?
We researched around this topic and put together this list of free tools that allow you to download either yours or your friends’ pics from Facebook and save them on your computer for backup or offline sharing. Enjoy!
1. FacePad:
It is an intuitive add-on for Firefox that allows you to download complete Facebook albums from your right click menu. From our tests, we saw it runs relatively fast also. You can download FacePad-on here.

2. Facebook Album Downloader
What if you don’t use Firefox? Album Downloader is a Facebook application for downloading complete photo albums of you or your friends. Get this application here.
3. Fotobounce
If you are more of a desktop application type, you should try Fotobounce. It is a photo organizer for Windows and Mac OS X that helps you view and download photo albums from Facebook. They also support face recognition (which is pretty cool as it saves you time to tag your pics) and integration with both Facebook and Flickr. Download Fotobounce here.
4. Album Copier
Album copier is another tool that lets you download photo albums from sites like Facebook. You can pause or resume the download and start from anywhere in the album. Get Album Copier here.
As you saw, these are several ways that allow you to download complete photo albums from Facebook. Which one’s your favorite? Is there another pic downloader you would like to recommend to fellow readers?

This is so simple. I can not wait to share this with my family. Thanks for the help.
wow!, this is cool..thank you very much for this information….
LoL!!! Those were amazing tools/addons…I always use to download every individual photo from FB…I’m sure this would help me to save all the photo in single go..will keep you posted on how it worked..Thanks.. :)
This is a really useful list. I never even knew you get whole albums this way. A friend of mine uploaded a bunch of pictures she took of a litter of puppies I was getting ready to sell and I painfully dragged each one off and it took forever.
Thanks to this post I can say: NEVER AGAIN! :)
I too noticed that when I joined Facebook recently. The other thing that I noticed is getting updates of people whom you send friend request and they don’t add you.
I am not sure if its due to lack of action on the friendship request or otherwise. When I visit the profile page, it still shows “Awaiting Confirmation”. I am not sure what should one make out of it.
