Research In Motion (RIM)  today unveiled its new mobile computing device BlackBerry PlayBook tablet and BlackBerry Tablet OS.

Measuring less than half an inch thick and weighing less than a pound, the BlackBerry PlayBook features a 7” high resolution powered by 1 GHz dual-core processor and the new BlackBerry Tablet OS. See some key features below.

• BlackBerry Tablet OS with support for symmetric multiprocessing
• 1 GHz dual-core processor

    I think that it is awsome. It is better than what I have now. This is what I will be asking for at Christmas. I wish that it was not three months away. I need it right now.

    BB is the Only OS I’ve never used but by looking on the specifications, Playbook sounds like a SERIOUS contender for Apple’s iPad.
