New Apple AirPort Extreme with 802.11n Wireless Support

Apple Computers recently launched the new AirPort Extreme Base Station, which provides a secure wireless network, that connects 50 computers, offering up to five times the performance and up to twice the range of networks created with the earlier 802.11g standard with support for the IEEE 802.11n draft specification. This is better than the older AirPort Express with Airtunes that claimed to be the world’s first 802.11g mobile base station, which could also wirelessly stream iTunes music. (more…)
