‘Doodle 4 Google - My Britain’ is a nationwide design competition open to the UK’s 10 million school children between the ages of 4 and 18 years. Young people are being invited to design a Google doodle explaining what it means to be British today. (more…)

I Am 8-Bit Annual Art Contest Winners

IGN announced the winners of the I Am 8-Bit Annual Art Contest.

IGN earlier invited the aspiring artists reading IGN to create a piece of art inspired by the 8-bit era of videogaming. You needed to send a picture of your videogame-themed work of art before April 7th to get considered for inclusion in the I Am 8-Bit Contest. Now they announced the winners. The winner was Roland Tamayo, who was picked almost unanimously by the panel of judges. (more…)
