Facebook Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerburg married long time girlfriend Dr. Priscilla Chan in a quiet marriage ceremony at his Palo Alto, California home. This was barely a day after the successful Facebook IPO launch in the stock market which makes Mark Zuckerberg a billionaire and one of the richest men in the world, all at the age of 28 years!

The marriage news was posted as public Facebook status updates by Mark and Priscilla, where they highlighted their new married status. You need to be logged into Facebook to see those posts.

Priscilla Chan is a doctor and she just graduated from medical school at the University of California, San Francisco and now is married to Mark Zuckerberg, a regular member of the 100 most influential people of the world club. AP reports that nearly 100 guests thought they came to celebrate Priscilla’s graduation, but were surprised by the wedding announcement instead!

More information about them can be found at their Facebook pages at facebook.com/zuck and facebook.com/priscilla. If you browse her Facebook page, you will find Priscilla Chan was a long time girlfriend of Mark Zuckerberg, and had posted pics with each other over several years and in fact had confirmed their relationship in 2011.

How to find Angry Birds embed code to use on your website? First you need to play Angry Birds level that you want to embed on your website. Visit apps.facebook.com/angrybirds to get started. For example I played this Angry Birds level 5, so now I can embed this level on this very webpage.

After you succeed (or fail) in clearing any Angry Birds level, at the end you will find an alert which allows you to share Angry Birds experience with Facebook friends or embed the level into your blog or website.

Clicking on embed will give you an embed code as well as an embed URL. Simply paste the embed code to post the iframe in your blog post, or use the URL if you want to embed the game in your Facebook timeline.

Limitations: Firstly note that you cannot play embedded game with Angry Birds Power ups like King slings, power quakes etc. Secondly you can only embed a single level at one time, and once your site visitor plays that level he is prompted to visit the Facebook site for playing the full game.

Moreover, the embed code allows you to install an iframe code with width 398px and height 270px. It provides an option to play in full screen, which if clicked will lead the visitor away from your site to the Facebook Angry Birds application. If you manually tried to increase the size of this embedded frame, it simply enlarges the border around the game window, which still stays small enough for the visitor to be interested in visiting the full-screen Facebook website.

Giant QR Code on Facebook Office Roof

Facebook employees painted a giant 42 foot giant QR code on the Facebook Office roof so that it is visible from space, appears on Google maps and can be scanned by QR code readers to visit target facebook sites on mobile smartphones. QR codes are getting popular and everyday people are finding new unique ways to get visitors to their site.

It was part of the “Space Hackathon” called by Mark Zuckerberg at the new Facebook headquarters in Menlo Park. As Facebook staff eagerly climbed on the roof and painted the QR code, they chose a short url fbco.de so that the QR code could be made simpler and easily scannable even is smaller sizes when viewable on maps!

Spend a little time and see if you can spot it on this aerial map?

Kind of reminds me of similar attempts to create large billboards of Eva Longoria by Maxim and huge KFC logos!

First I hope you have grabbed a Facebook username for your page at facebook.com/username and activated the new Facebook Page Timeline.

Is it possible to change Facebook Name?
Yes. If your Facebook page has less than 100 Likes, then Facebook does allow Facebook Page admins to change the name of your page. Go to Edit Page > Basic Information > Name. If you can afford to loose your small community, you can also decide to delete Facebook pages and create new Facebook pages.

I have over 100 Likes, can I change the Facebook name.
Here is a secret tip. You can easily see who likes your page. Ask your close friends and associates to unlike your page. That might bring you below 100 Likes and allow you to change your Facebook page name.

How to contact Facebook to change name?
Here is a Facebook feedback form which allows Facebook page admins to request change of Facebook page name, only if your business name is misspelled or your business name is changed. I did not need to use the form, but I think it reasonable that they might ask admins for proof of business name before changing the Facebook page name.

Activate Facebook Pages Timeline Now

Now Brands can activate Facebook Pages Timeline and get the new Facebook design for their Facebook brand pages. Facebook Timeline was introduced sometime back and will become the default design on all Facebook profiles.

Facebook page admins will notice a new alert on the Facebook pages when they login. We got that alert today on our admin page and set up our new page.

On March 30, 2012, Facebook plans to convert all Pages to the new design. Once you click on the Preview page, Admins can visualize how their Facebook pages Timeline will look like. You can start by uploading the correct Facebook cover photo size and then go on hide, highlight and fix content for public view. Here are more Facebook Timeline tips to get started.

When you are ready, click the publish button. Remember, you can preview and fix your Facebook pages timeline without publishing. Once done, the process is not reversible and you cannot go back to your old Facebook pages profile.

5 Tips to Get Started With Facebook Timeline

Guest post by Ashish. Facebook recently launched the new Timeline feature to all its users. While most of the users loved the new update, like always there were some who didn’t quite like it. One of the major reasons for the dislike was the complicated interface.

So, if you are one of ‘em who think that the new timeline feature is a bit too complicated, here are 5 nifty tips to get you started.

Get a Nice Cover Image

Cover Image is a very new concept introduced with the new timeline view. A cover Image, just like a magazine cover, speaks about you, and thus you must not neglect it. Though you can upload and customize the cover image manually, but if you are looking for some special effects with the ease of editing, you can try CoverCanvas. It’s by far the best I have come across.

Hide The Past

With the new timeline feature, all the older posts and updates you made years back will be easily accessible. As years back there was no provision in Facebook to mark your updates as friends, friends of friends and public – all your older posts becomes public by default.

Thus, the first thing that you should do after activating the timeline in your profile is make all your older posts private. To do so, click on the dropdown arrow near the home button and click on Privacy settings. In the privacy settings page look for Limit the Audience for Past Posts and click on Manage Past Post Visibility.

Now click on the button Limit old posts in the new dialog box to hide you all public updates you made in your past.

Add Life Events

After the timeline feature was introduced, Facebook is now no more a simple social-networking service, instead it’s like your biography online. You can now add your life events to Facebook like your convocation date, your first anniversary, the day you got promoted, the day you brought your first car or bike. Let it be any event and Facebook lets you share it with your friends.

To create an event go to your timeline view and click on the Life Events button next to the update status button. Now add your desired event to your Facebook profile and share it with your friends.

Feature your Posts

In the timeline view, a post is shared in a two-column newspaper like format. They are trimmed to occupy the left or the right half of the screen. If you would like to highlight any story in your timeline and would like to feature it occupying both the columns, just click on the star button located above the update.

Your post will now be expanded to use both the column in your timeline view thus featuring the story.

Change Album Primary Photo

In the new Facebook, whenever you upload a photo album to your profile, it automatically selects an image as the cover image for your album.

Now, if you want to change the image with another existing image in your profile, click on the small pencil near the star button at the top right of the update and select Change primary photo. Select the new primary image and select OK.

As you surf the web, you can use the Facebook Messenger for Facebook Chat with your Facebook friends, see the latest updates from your friends in ticker and get quick Facebook updates and notifications.

After installing Facebook Messenger, you can easily do Facebook login and logout by right-clicking the Facebook icon in Windows system tray. Once you open the app, the app is undocked by default so that you can move it around your computer screen, but you can dock the app and fix it on the screen also.

Choose the “Keep me logged in” option and Messenger will keep you logged in to Facebook even after you close your browser or navigate away from Facebook. Remember, choosing Exit will close the app but still keep you logged into Facebook; therefore choose Log out to completely logout of both the Messenger app and facebook.com, especially if your computer has multiple users or public use.
