Microsoft Natural Wireless Laser Mouse 6000I recently used the Microsoft Natural Wireless Laser Mouse 6000, an ergonomic mouse often claimed as the most comfortable mouse from Microsoft. One of the most expensive mouse available in the market, it was interesting to note if it was worth its value. As I adjusted to the new ergonomic mouse design, there were some good and bad features…

The first thing that amazed me about Microsoft Natural Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 was the soft feel of the mouse, it was not plastic-y, but very comfortable to hold and feel without getting rubber-y. However, it was definitely heavy. After using the extremely light wired laser mouse from iBall, it was indeed too heavy. But I guess the bulky mouse design and the batteries might contribute to the excess weight. I had to increase the mouse pointer speed so I did not have to move the mouse too much. (more…)

U.S. Postal Service Offers Free Recycling of Small Electronics

U.S. Postal Service has launched a pilot program that allows customers to recycle small electronics and inkjet cartridges by mailing them free of charge. Customers can use free envelopes found in 1500 Post Offices to mail back inkjet cartridges, PDAs, Blackberries, digital cameras, iPods and MP3 players without having to pay for postage. Starting in 10 areas across the country (including Washington, D.C., Chicago, Los Angeles and San Diego), it is a great initiative that helps consumers discard used or obsolete small electronics in an environmentally responsible way. Go green. Anyone has a snapshot of these envelopes?

Google is indexing our posts faster over the last few weeks. I noticed earlier that Google reader is instantly indexing our articles in seconds, and now Googlebot is indexing our articles in a few minutes… are you noticing a similar trend? (more…)

Airtel USB Modem Software Drivers for Windows Vista

Airtel USB ModemI use Airtel USB modem to run the wireless internet connection on my laptop. Till a few months back, the supplied software supported Windows XP only, and I kept hoping Windows Vista drivers would eventually arrive. Frustrated with the inability to use wireless internet on my new Windows Vista notebook, I checked with the Airtel dealers, but they informed Windows Vista is still not supported. (more…)
