    My apologies…I think I was missing the initial question…how do we add a logo? I know the answer was already asked, but I need a more “baby step” answer. I know I have to remove the text, but what is the code I put and where? The Header templet? An example of the code needed would be great. Thanks a million!

  2. Nancy – Put anything inside tags
    <?php if (is_home()) { ?>
    <?php } ?>
    and will show only on index pages.

  3. Carl – In header.php, locate the
    <a class=”blogtitle” href=”<?php echo get_option(’home’); ?>/”><?php bloginfo(’name’); ?></a>
    This is what links to the title. Change it with an image “img” tag and you are done.

    Help! I accidentally made some changes to the html code while adding in a picture on the sidebar and now i do not know how to get the correct formatting back. Is there anyway I can get the beginning code for the sidebar again? or do you know how i can fix this as i am not very code savvy yet? Thank you so much!

  5. Sarah – Download QuickPress again and you will get the orginal files back.

  6. Sarah says:

    Thank you! I know that seems like something I should have figured out on my own – sorry! I love your theme. Thank you so much for the support.

  7. Josh says:

    A very nice theme. It reminds me of Thesis.

    How come it says “copyright” in the CSS, yet it is licenced under the GPL?

  8. R. Harwood says:

    Best theme I’ve found so far!

    Question: I want the sidebar navigation to show main pages only, not child pages. How do I change the code to arrange that?

  9. @Harwood – This article will help you modify the code as per your requirement.

    @Josh – Thesis is a beautiful theme, much better than this theme and is coded by top experts. Quickpress theme is a heavily modified theme based on the default template. You are correct that we need to modify the copyright notice. Thanks.

  12. Ben – Its is not theme related. Check the Google Webmaster Tools for the problem.

  17. @Matthijs – you can easily change adjust the width of sidebar, l_sidebar, r_sidebar tags in style.css to change the width as you want.

    hi,
    i had installed your them for our blog. however, i am facing difficulties in the same. first of all , the side bar gets distorted when the site/new page opens and only after few seconds it gets corrected. secondly, at many times, the design completely dissappears and only the text shows on the site.. i checked with my hosting and they informed me that distortion has to do with the design and not hosting. can you help me?

  26. skigreenteam says:

    I have set my QuickPress-themed site to display post excerpts and I’ve also used tags. Neither of these options are working on my site. Anyone else having this problem?

  27. Kim says:

    Hi,
    I love your theme and am using it for my blog.
    I have 2 questions:
    -How can I rotate the images
    -When visitors arrive the default is to show the most recent post. Is there a way to have the same post show (instead of the most recent). Or alternatively, to have a page show. Kind of like a home page functionality.

    Thanks!

  28. @sandeep – when text only shows, it means the css file is not loaded. Your hosting or net connectivity need to be checked.

    @skigreenteam – I see both are working on your site now.

    @Kim – You can find many plugins to rotate images. You can select any page to show as homepage from wordpress admin settings.

  29. sandeep says:

    Thanks for your reply. However, why do the sidebars get distorted when the site is opened for the first time? I can see the black background of the theme instead of the white sidebars.

    Another question: How can we remove the black strip which comes on the top of the site (where the home and login/out) links show? I do not like this strip and wanted to remove it.

  30. Josh says:
