Wordpress Navigator: Quick Admin Navigation
I find navigating the wordpress panel difficult, so I created Wordpress Navigator - a cool frame based too which helps to easily navigate throught the main wordpress admin panels and links. This requires an upload of some files which create a frames based navigation for your wordpress administration interface. All links on the left panel open in the right panel.

Installation
1. Download the zip package
2. Unzip the contents - 3 files are seen namely wpnav.html, wpnavleft.html and wpnav.css
3. Simply upload these 3 files by FTP individually (not in a folder) to the wp-admin folder in your wordpress installation.
4. Go to yourblogname.com/wp-admin/wpnav.html and you can see the wordpressnavigator at work
If you host your blog in a sub directory like blog/ or archives/, follow its path.
yourblogname.com/blog/wp-admin/wpnav.html
FAQ
1. Are these files safe to use?
wpnav.html and wpnavleft.html are simple html files which contain links to the wordpress admin panel. wpnav.css is the stylesheet to style the links in the wpnavleft.html. It merely aims to give you a blended wordpress admin look. They should not affect your installation in any way. You can open the files in any text editor like Wordpad to check the code if you wish.
2. Why do I need to upload these files to wp-admin?
The files need the full path of your yourblogname.com/wp-admin/ to work. Since it will be used on different domain names, it is not possible to provide complete link paths for all urls. The relative links will only work when they are in the wp-adin folder of your domain name.
3. Where can I get updates?
You can get updates here. Suggestions are welcome.
4. Can I modify the wpnav.css?
wpnav.css is a CSS stylesheet that has been coded to mimic the wordpress admin stylesheet so that it feels like part of the wp-admin panel. You can edit the wpnav.css stylesheet to suit your style. That is also why I do not host the stylesheet here, else you cannot edit it.
5. Why has it stopped working after Wordpress upgrade?
If you upgrade to a new wordpress version, you usually need to delete the full wp-admin folder. In which case all these 3 files stored there are alos deleted. You will need to upload them again.
7. What if something goes wrong?
You are not editing your wp-admin files in any way. There are no database changes. These are 3 simple spam free files for providing an alernative navigation panel. If you do feel comfortable with this process, please do not use the tool. I cannot provide individual support. If you know FTP and know exactly what you are doing, then only use these files. I do not take any responsibility for any mishap which might occur in case you inadvertently edit or delete some other files and make your wordpress blog unusable.
