Google Publication Ads is a new Google service that enables you to place ads in print publications, allowing your advertising to reach an audience that’s targeted to the demographics and topics you choose.
How it works?
Select a publication using target demographics, circulation details or keywords and then compare each publication’s details and pricing to select the publication that’s right for you. Create your ad and submit it. They will review your ad and provide it to the publisher for their approval, and when it runs, you get a proof of publication and an invoice for payment.
Commenting more about the Google Publication Ads, Adjab says – “I think this is huge that this is a whole seperate service from AdWords. With print circulation dropping, Google Publication Ads could have a great deal of negotiating power in their role as an ad-space reseller.”
Google Publication Ads is currently in a pilot phase and you need to been invited to participate. Cashing in on ads revenue, this is a new way for Google to make extra money quickly. Dont be surprised if you see “Ads by Goooooogle” in your local newspaper!
