I think Foxit Reader is the fastest free PDF viewer available. How do you open and read PDF documents? Most of you will say Adobe Acrobat reader. But I am a fan of this cool PDF viewer called Foxit.
The software is a small 1.5 MB download, and the best part I like about it is the fast speed of opening PDF documents, without any splash screens (which I miss in Adobe Reader, though I had freeware tools to speed up Adobe reader).
It allows you to draw graphics, highline text, type text and make notes on a PDF document and then print out or save the annotated document. You may also convert the whole PDF document into a simple text file. Foxit Reader 2.0 supports Windows 95-XP and its core function is compatible with PDF Standard 1.6. Download Foxit.
If you are used to the portable software version which you can carry on USB flash drives to directly view PDF files anywhere, then download the zip file (and not the installer file).
