Apple has launched the new Apple iPad Mini for a starting price of $329, a smaller version of the hugely popular iPad. There was lot of buzz that Apple will launch its answer to the smaller tablet market in todays Apple event, and the iPad Mini will surely rock the tablet market once again giving tough competition to the smaller tablets. They even refreshed the iPad and the new iPad 4 is here!
Ipad Mini Features
The iPad Mini is a smaller iPad which will all apps that a regular iPad does. It features a 7.9 inch display (compared to the 9.7 inch iPad display) and when compared to similar Android tablets, claims to feature at least a third larger screen. It is 23 percent thinner and 53 percent lighter than iPad 3, and is just 7.2 mm thin and weighs only 0.68 pounds. And of course it features the powerful dual core A5 chip, LTE versions, FaceTime HD camera, 5MP iSight camera at back, which will also allow 1080p HD video recording.
It features the new Lightning connector, and will have a battery life of 10 hours! But note that the iPad Mini needs a new Nano SIM card, and will not work with micro SIM cards used in the iPad. They even created iPad mini smart covers, a smaller size of the iPad smartcovers to fit the iPad mini.

The Ipad Mini is competitively priced starting at $329 for a wifi 16GB model. This is much cheaper than the iPad 4 with retina display starting at $499.
