Live Earth staged concerts in New York, London, Sydney, Tokyo, Shanghai, Rio de Janeiro, Johannesburg, Hamburg featuring top music artists with a worldwide call to action on the issue.

Live Earth was founded by Kevin Wall, the Worldwide Executive Producer of Live 8, an global event to combat poverty. He partnered with Al Gore, Former U.S. Vice President, and the Alliance for Climate Protection to herald the beginning of this multi-year campaign to combat climate crisis.
