NaBloPoMo: National Blog Posting Month is On

A friend asked me if I was participating in the NaBloPoMo, a term I had never heard before! NaBloPoMo is short for National Blog Posting Month, which is currently running this November.

National Blog Posting MonthThe rules of NaBloPoMo are very simple – participating in the National Blog Posting Month requires that you post every day for the month of November, which you would do anyway if you are a regular blogger…

If you update your blog every day in the month of November and are registered on their Blogroll, you’re automatically in the running for some cool prizes. Signing up requires a Ning ID.

Browse participating blogs using the NaBloPoMo Randomiser. NaBloPoMo has emerged as a writing exercise, and is much easier than its inspiration, the National Novel Writing Month.

Are you participating in the NaBloPoMo 2007?

I write only during on weekends.

You can always future post for weekends by post dating your articles. Keep your weekends free. A wordpress advantage.

    Yep, I’m participating in NaBloPoMo.

And it is true that you can postdate your articles to keep your weekends free and whatever other day isn’t good for you, but technically thats cheating. You aren’t really posting every day, your just posting many times on one day.

Oh, who am I kidding. This is on the honor system. And we all know how well that works. ;)

Modern Princess – I agree with you that postdating your articles is “technically cheating” when participating in such contest.

But it is difficult to detect it. I hope the judges can figure out who is the true winner. :-)
