Win Free Logitech Revue with Google TV Devices

Google is giving away 10,000 Free Google TV devices to help developers start building for Google TV. Google TV lets you seamlessly search all of the content on your TV, the web, and apps – then access it with a single click. You can also easily switch between TV and the web without having to change inputs on your television.

Google gave away 3,000 Google TV devices to attendees of the Adobe MAX conference and are reaching out to web developers in the Google Code community to offer them a free device.

If you don’t fit into those 2 groups, submit an entry to the limited-time Google TV promotional giveaway program for web developers for a chance to win a free Logitech Revue with Google TV. Include a short summary about the type of interesting website your company would like to create or optimize for Google TV.

This promotional program is open to U.S.-based companies that either provide web development services for their own consumer-facing websites or are involved primarily in the business of providing web development services for other consumer-focused websites and online businesses. Enter your company for an opportunity to win a free Logitech Revue with Google TV device.

Last date for entries is November 3, 2010. They will  select 2,500 winners from those entries to receive a free Google TV device.

This is great. Actually I joined the GoogleTV developers forum and guess what? I got my free logitech revue today form UPS! I am going to take pics and post them on my blog. This thing is awesome! I was like the 3rd member to join the site, and around Nov. 5th got an email stating I was chosen for a free Logitech Revue. So I clicked the link in my email, sent Google my address and other info. The email stated I had until Nov. 12th 2010 to submit my info. Well I never heard anything back from them and on 12/1/2010 I had a FREE, brand new Logitech Revue at my doorstep from UPS!

I am so happy, thank you so much for the opportunity Google! I will not let you down, and I will develop the best app for GoogleTV!

So Chris – where are your photos of this device?
Hard to believe free ones actually went out without seeing proof…

I would like to join the GoogleTV developers forum. What do I need to provide and/or show to be a part of this. I use Google as my sole internet search engine and I was planning to purchase an internet WiFi TV or system and now see that GoogleTV only comes with some of the latest TV’s or systems. I’m not totally sure if I am eligible or not, but I sure would like to try the service with the Logitech Revue, as I am very interested. I am a 63 year old disabled Vietnam Veteran who does not have the money, but does have the time to try out this item. If I am eligible in any way to be a GoogleTV developer please keep my information for consideration. Thank You.

I got to play around with a Dish Network Logitech Revue through work and I was so impressed with how easy and fun Google TV surfing can be. I was equally impressed with the features; watching TV while surfing the net is astonishing. I have a very comfy couch and this would be a delightful way to get my internet time in comfortably and easily. The wireless keypad that also serves as a remote is so lightweight and has so many different features. I would think this little device would be so useful for research and especially watching U Tube on the biggest monitor I’ve ever seen; my big screen TV.
