Its actually a Gmail labs feature called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quickonlinetips.com\/archives\/2009\/03\/stop-cancel-undo-sent-gmail-email\/\">Undo Send<\/a> that I have been using for a year now and has helped me hundreds of times <strong>pull back a sent email<\/strong> back into my draft folder\u00a0in one click.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13703\" title=\"undo-send-labs\" src=\"https:\/\/www.quickonlinetips.com\/archives\/wp-content\/uploads\/undo-send-labs.png\" alt=\"Undo Send in Gmail\" width=\"500\" height=\"81\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.quickonlinetips.com\/archives\/wp-content\/uploads\/undo-send-labs.png 500w, https:\/\/www.quickonlinetips.com\/archives\/wp-content\/uploads\/undo-send-labs-150x24.png 150w, https:\/\/www.quickonlinetips.com\/archives\/wp-content\/uploads\/undo-send-labs-300x48.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Recently they made the feature even better and instead of the earlier 5 seconds, Undo Send now allows \u00a0three time durations till which you can snatch the email back from the Gmail servers &#8211;<strong> 5, 10 and 20 seconds<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13704\" title=\"undo-send-time\" src=\"https:\/\/www.quickonlinetips.com\/archives\/wp-content\/uploads\/undo-send-time.png\" alt=\"Undo Send time\" width=\"490\" height=\"49\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.quickonlinetips.com\/archives\/wp-content\/uploads\/undo-send-time.png 490w, https:\/\/www.quickonlinetips.com\/archives\/wp-content\/uploads\/undo-send-time-300x30.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 490px) 100vw, 490px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You can change the undo send time from your Gmail settings easily. \u00a0This basically means you can &#8220;<strong>undo send<\/strong>&#8221; or get your email back into your inbox as late as 20 seconds after pressing Send email.<\/p>\n<p>I suggest you enable this feature and you will never regret sending an unwanted email seconds after pressing Send.
