Other ad networks<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) now points people to its <a href=\"https:\/\/thenai.org\/how-to-opt-out\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">opt-out guide<\/a>, and the Digital Advertising Alliance offers <a href=\"https:\/\/youradchoices.com\/control\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AdChoices tools<\/a> to opt out of participating companies. Look for the small AdChoices triangle on ads to see why you were targeted.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_opting_out_does_and_doesnt_do\"><\/span>What opting out does and doesn&#8217;t do<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>You still see the same number of ads; they&#8217;re just less tailored to you.<\/li>\n<li>Cookie-based opt-outs are stored as cookies, so clearing cookies can undo them.
