Here are some excerpts of the emails they received.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Custom placement packs are selections of individually-reviewed sites designed for our <strong>largest brand advertisers<\/strong>. We would like to feature your site more frequently in these advertiser packages, but to do so, we need you to place more image and text-enabled medium rectangle ad units (300&#215;250) on your site.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;These advertisers want to ensure they reach visitors on high quality sites like yours, and are <strong>willing to bid more for ads<\/strong> prominently displayed on these sites. They require that the units be placed &#8220;above the fold&#8221; on a page so that the ads are immediately visible to your site&#8217;s visitors without scrolling down.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Inside Google who were invited have got valuable advice to share about the <a href=\"https:\/\/adsense.googleblog.com\/2007\/01\/everything-in-its-placement.html\" rel=\"noopener\">new ad placements<\/a> feature which can help you get more targeted advertisers.<br \/>\n# Do not label crappy ad units, only your best.<br \/>\n# Include the ad size in your description.<br \/>\n# Add ad units that have support for video and image ads. <\/p>\n<p>More discussion at <a href=\"http:\/\/forums.digitalpoint.com\/showthread.php?t=228283\" rel=\"noopener\">DigitalPoint<\/a> and WebmasterWorld.
