We encourage you to comment on our website to participate and engage in productive discussions with the interactive QOT community.<\/p>\n<p>Many long time readers and\u00a0Disqus users wanted us to integrate <a href=\"http:\/\/disqus.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Disqus<\/a> comments on our blog. We had tried earlier many blogging comment systems like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quickonlinetips.com\/archives\/2011\/02\/add-facebook-comments\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Facebook comments<\/a>, which is a surefire way to increase Facebook subscribers on your site. We also tried to install Disqus earlier, but there were errors which we were lazy to fix and opted for\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/intensedebate.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IntenseDebate<\/a> comments which we tried for some time &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>However, we persisted with the original WordPress comments since they could be easily cached by WordPress caching plugins and helped to<a href=\"https:\/\/www.quickonlinetips.com\/archives\/2012\/02\/increase-site-speed\/\"> load side faster<\/a>. Moreover, WordPress comments were easier and to customise with CSS, and it was possible to expertly customise every component of the comments code with the theme functions file, like removing links to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quickonlinetips.com\/archives\/2012\/06\/fight-google-panda-penguin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">overcome Google Panda penalties<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Disqus Comments<\/h3>\n<p>Disqus 2012 was launched recently with some amazing features to build community on websites and blogs.
