Looking back at the site traffic a year back in August 2007, we had 170,000 visitors and 260,000 pageviews. This August 2008, exactly a year later, we got 340,000 visitors and over 520,000 pageviews &#8211; that is a <strong>100% growth rate in a year.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Some <strong>events <\/strong>that made this difference are the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quickonlinetips.com\/archives\/2008\/05\/qot-on-bbc-click-webscape\/\">BBC feature<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quickonlinetips.com\/archives\/2007\/09\/quick-online-tips-featured-on-indian-express-newspaper\/\">Indian Express<\/a> feature, rare <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quickonlinetips.com\/archives\/2008\/06\/qot-live-on-9rules\/\">9rules<\/a> branding, the Quickpress wordpress theme launch, our new photoblog, crossing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quickonlinetips.com\/archives\/2008\/04\/15000-rss-feed-readers\/\">15000 RSS reader<\/a> landmark, and switch to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quickonlinetips.com\/archives\/2008\/03\/switching-to-full-text-feeds\/\">full text feeds<\/a>. We got the honor of featuring in some lists like the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyblogtips.com\/top-25-blogs-about-blogging\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Top 25 blogs about blogging<\/a> and <a title=\"More Wildly Sticky, Successful and Outstanding Blogs on Blogging\" href=\"https:\/\/www.successful-blog.com\/1\/more-wildly-sticky-successful-and-outstanding-blogs-on-blogging\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Top 20 Wildly Sticky, Successful and Outstanding Blogs on Blogging<\/a>, and top <a href=\"http:\/\/xfep.com\/uber-blogs\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Uber blogs<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Considering <strong>social media<\/strong>, there is a regular stream of Stumbleupon users visiting the site, well above any other competitor.
