It&#8217;s disappointing, but it seems the global recession and job layoffs are taking their toll on festivities this year.<\/p>\n<p>As impatient Adsense publishers searched the forums looking for Adsense gifts, Amit spotted AdsenseAdvisor, an official Google Adsense representative who remarked in the Webmaster World Forums that<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>We really appreciate the work you all put into building great sites. However, we feel that <strong>gift-giving is not the most appropriate gesture this year<\/strong> given the current global economic climate. I know you may be disappointed, but I hope you can understand our efforts to be fiscally responsible in these times.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>As the discussion continues, I am sure publishers will be disappointed. It was a nice year-end gesture from Google and surely it didn&#8217;t cost a fortune since they sent it out only to a select few Adsense publishers only. Google sends out nice gifts every year in the last few years they sent out some Google-branded <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quickonlinetips.com\/archives\/2007\/12\/google-gifts-usb-memory-cards-to-adsense-publishers\/\">USB memory cards<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quickonlinetips.com\/archives\/2006\/11\/google-gifts-digital-photo-frame-to-top-adsense-publishers\/\">digital picture frames<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Here are images of some<strong> Google Gifts<\/strong> sent out previously.
