A better long-term fix is to block the product&#8217;s domain itself:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to <strong>Brand safety &gt; Content &gt; Blocking controls<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Choose <strong>All sites<\/strong> (or a single site), then open <strong>Advertiser URLs<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the domain of the product you promote, such as <em>sitename.com<\/em>, and click <strong>Block URLs<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>This stops any ad whose landing page is on that domain, including new ads from advertisers you haven&#8217;t seen yet. Google explains the details in its help page on <a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/adsense\/answer\/180609\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">blocking advertiser URLs<\/a>. Note that it doesn&#8217;t catch ads that go to an intermediate landing page on a different domain, so check the Ad review center now and then too.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Block_an_advertiser_account\"><\/span>Block an advertiser account<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You can also block a whole advertiser account. In the Ad review center, click an ad to see its details on the right, then choose <strong>Block account<\/strong>. If the blocked advertisers were paying a high cost per click, a lower-paying ad may take their place, and <strong>your AdSense income can drop<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Blocking a whole advertiser account is riskier still. Large advertisers often run many different campaigns, and blocking the account removes all of them, including high-paying ads that don&#8217;t compete with your affiliate products. If you run a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quickonlinetips.com\/archives\/2010\/08\/build-successful-adsense-income-blog\/\">successful AdSense blog<\/a>, block by advertiser URL rather than by account where you can.<\/p>\n<p>So track the results. Compare your AdSense RPM and your affiliate sales for a few weeks before and after blocking.
