Look for a section called <strong>Host names<\/strong>, <strong>Child nameservers<\/strong>, <strong>Personal DNS server<\/strong> or <strong>Register nameserver<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>GoDaddy:<\/strong> Domain settings &gt; DNS &gt; <strong>Hostnames<\/strong> &gt; Add hostname.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Namecheap:<\/strong> Domain List &gt; Manage &gt; Advanced DNS &gt; <strong>Personal DNS Server<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Other registrars:<\/strong> search their help for &#8220;child nameserver&#8221; or &#8220;glue record&#8221;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Add <code>ns1<\/code> with the first IP and <code>ns2<\/code> with the second IP, then save.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Step_2_Create_the_nameservers_on_your_server\"><\/span>Step 2: Create the nameservers on your server<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Your server must answer DNS queries for your domain. In WHM, go to <strong>Server Configuration &gt; Basic WebHost Manager Setup<\/strong>, enter <code>ns1.yourdomain.com<\/code> and <code>ns2.yourdomain.com<\/code> as the nameservers, and make sure your domain&#8217;s DNS zone has A records for <code>ns1<\/code> and <code>ns2<\/code> pointing to the same IPs. Other panels have similar settings.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Step_3_Change_your_domains_nameservers\"><\/span>Step 3: Change your domain&#8217;s nameservers<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Back at the registrar, open the domain&#8217;s <strong>Nameservers<\/strong> setting, choose <strong>Custom nameservers<\/strong>, and enter <code>ns1.yourdomain.com<\/code> and <code>ns2.yourdomain.com<\/code>.
