However, Kodachrome film required <strong>complex processing<\/strong> and in many countries, it was sold with processing included in the purchase price.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Kodachrome Camera Films\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.static.flickr.com\/200\/505237198_40911ea24c_d.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"365\" \/><br \/>\nPhoto by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/awrose\/505237198\/\" rel=\"noopener\">awrose<\/a><\/p>\n<p>As digital cameras and easier film processing with Ektachrome became common, now only <strong>one Kodak certified facility <\/strong>exists in the world at Dwayne&#8217;s Photo in Parsons, Kansas, which will continue processing Kodachrome films through the end of December 2010 and will continue to offer Kodachrome film for sale till supplies last.<\/p>\n<p>Kodachrome is famously known to be used by professional photographers like <strong>Steve McCurry<\/strong> who shot the 1984 portrait of Sharbat Gula, the &#8220;Afghan girl&#8221; for National Geographic magazine.
